Please purchase (if needed) before the first class.

Earth Science
Items needed in class each week.
  • 1-subject spiral notebook* (separate from the science skills notebook)
  • 2 folders (any type, any color except black)*
  • scissors
*Please write studentís name on the front in permanent marker. Bring this permanent marker to class the first week.
Items needed at home.
  • colored pencils*
  • loose-leaf paper (for TBQs)
  • calculator* (basic functions)
  • graph paper
  • metric ruler (30 cm)
  • compass* (for drawing circles)
  • white glue (e.g., Elmer's)
*Students may be asked to bring these to class from time to time.


Biology
Items needed in class each week.
  • notebook (any type, separate from the science skills notebook)
Items needed at home.
  • colored pencils*
  • loose-leaf paper (for TBQs)
  • graph paper
  • calculator*
  • metric ruler (30 cm)
  • scissors*
*Students may be asked to bring these to class from time to time.


Physics
Items needed in class each week.
  • notebook (any type, separate from the science skills notebook)
  • scientific calculator*
  • sharp pencil (mechanical or bring a sharpener)
*Must be capable of doing scientific notation and trigonometric functions
Items needed at home.
  • colored pencils*
  • loose-leaf paper (for TBQs)
  • graph paper (one pack or tablet of 25-50 sheets)
  • metric ruler (30 cm)
  • protractor*
  • flash drive* (optional but helpful)
*Students may be asked to bring these to class from time to time.


Science Skills Workshop
Items needed in class each day.
  • 1-subject spiral notebook* (separate from the notebook needed for science class)
  • scissors
  • calculator (basic functions)
  • pencil
  • colored pencils (optional)
*Look for the 70-page spiral notebooks that often go on sale for a dime over the summerónot composition books. Either wide or college rule is fine. This is not the same notebook you will need for your Science Academy class.
